Over 400 global cashew stakeholders to attend 19th ACA Conference in Tanzania

More than 400 actors and stakeholders from the global cashew industry, representing over 33 countries, are expected to attend the 19th African Cashew Alliance (ACA) Annual Cashew Conference and Expo in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.

This is the third time Tanzania will host the significant event. Scheduled for November 18-22, 2025, the conference aims to highlight the vital need for strategic investments in research, human capacity development, policy directives, innovations, technology, traceability, and food safety to drive sustainable growth within the cashew sector.

Ghana's President Appoints Acting CEO for Tree Crops Development Authority

President John Dramani Mahama has appointed Andy Osei Okrah as the acting Chief Executive Officer of the Tree Crops Development Authority.

Mr. Okrah, a former Director of Human Resource of the Forestry Commission also served in the first administration of President Mahama as Deputy Minister of the Ashanti Region.

In his acceptance speech, Mr. Okrah was grateful for the trust and confidence reposed in him and pledged to work tirelessly to drive the growth and development of Ghana’s tree crops industry.
