The committee will be supported by Andre Tandjiekpon of INRAB (national research institute) and Richard Adjobo (SNV). The chamber of commerce (CCIB) will help organizing a legal structure, and PADSA (danish development organization) will provide some small funds to start up.

The agenda is to work on a better environment for processing, issues with traceablility, a long term view for the sector, better collaboration between the sub-sectors and a stimulating legal/regulatory framework.

Coordination with ACA Secretariat

- Registered ACA Members
- Voluntary – not paid
- Self funding for active participation
- Representing national cashew value chain (production, processing, trade)
- Elected/nominated during national cashew meeting
- 3-5 representatives elected for 3 years
- Positions: country coordinator, deputy country coordinator and secretary
- Representatives meet regularly· Country coordinator to participate in Annual Steering Committee
- The EC can request a new election if the country coordinator is inactive or counter productive

- Promote ACA and ACA membership registration
- Disseminate ACA information
- Organize annual national meeting/conference/training
- Report country sector updates and committee activities every 3 months toSecretariat
- Provide country information for update ACA website· Submit material for quarterly newsletter
